What Does Christmas Mean For Your Business?
It’s nearly here – with just days to go until the big day, businesses are out celebrating their office parties; email traffic has gone through the roof with Ho Ho Ho company newsletters; post boxes are bursting at the seams as businesses send out cards to all their clients and suppliers.
Merry Christmas Everyone!
Will your business be closing it’s doors for the holiday season? If you are in retail you may only have the one day off, the rest of the time being one of the busiest periods for you. And if you are in the hospitality trade you may not even have Christmas Day off.
But for a lot of small businesses this can be the opportunuity for a little bit of down time, a chance to catch your breath, reflect on the year gone by and plan for the year ahead.
Needless to say, those of us in the support industry will find it very difficult to stop working completely, as will all who work in the emergency services. The IT Companies who support those sectors who remain at work throughout the holiday period have to respond if needs arise. We take our computer systems for granted as long as they are up and running; but should a disaster occur, IT support firms really are the invisible emergency service.
We hope that whatever your plans are for Christmas and the New Year that you get the opportunity for some rest and relaxation, and would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a successful and prosperous 2014.
